Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Leh — Acclimatisation
Arrive at Leh Airport (3,524m). Transfer to hotel. Complete rest day for acclimatisation. Evening welcome briefing and orientation with your guide. Overnight in Leh.
Leh Sightseeing — Shanti Stupa, Palace & Market
Half-day acclimatisation. After lunch visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic views, Leh Palace, the 17th-century Jama Masjid and the colourful Leh Bazaar. Hall of Fame museum in the evening. Overnight in Leh.
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Drive over Khardung La (5,359m) with a stop at the summit. Descend into the lush Nubra Valley. Afternoon double-humped camel safari on the Hunder sand dunes. Evening in tented camp under the stars. Overnight in Nubra.
Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Valley
Morning visit to Diskit Monastery and the giant Maitreya Buddha. Drive through the spectacular Shyok Valley to Pangong Lake. First view of the shimmering blue lake is unforgettable. Sunset at the lakeside. Overnight at Pangong Tso camp.
Pangong Lake — Leisure & Photography
Full day to soak in the magic of Pangong. Sunrise photography, nature walks and optional kayaking on the lake. Watch the water shift from turquoise to sapphire throughout the day. Overnight at Pangong Tso camp.
Pangong to Leh — Hemis & Thiksey Monasteries
Sunrise at the lake. Drive back to Leh via Chang La. En route visit Hemis Monastery (the largest in Ladakh) and the stunning Thiksey Monastery. Arrive in Leh by evening. Farewell dinner. Overnight in Leh.
Departure from Leh
Morning at leisure for last-minute shopping. Pick up Pashmina shawls and Thangka paintings from Leh Market. Transfer to airport. Tour ends with memories to last a lifetime.
