Beginning in the ancient city of Leh, your expedition takes you through Khardung La — the gateway to Nubra Valley — where rolling sand dunes meet double-humped Bactrian camels. The journey continues to the legendary Pangong Lake, whose shimmering blue waters change colour throughout the day, stretching across the India-Tibet border. Magnetic Hill and the Hall of Fame round off an incredible adventure through one of the world's most dramatic landscapes.
All transfers are by private vehicle with experienced drivers. Permits, oxygen cylinders, and acclimatisation days are included to ensure a safe and comfortable experience even at extreme altitudes.

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochhe Airport, Leh (3,524m). Transfer to hotel. Complete rest day for acclimatisation — absolutely no strenuous activity. Evening welcome briefing with your guide. Overnight in Leh.
Half-day acclimatisation continues. After lunch, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Leh Market and the Hall of Fame. Evening stroll through the old bazaar. Overnight in Leh.
Early morning drive over Khardung La (5,359m) — stop for photos at the top. Descend into the stunning Nubra Valley. Afternoon camel safari on the Hunder sand dunes. Check in to tented camp. Overnight in Nubra Valley.
Morning visit to Diskit Monastery and the 32m Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Drive to Panamik for the warm sulphur springs. Return to camp. Stargazing session with telescope. Overnight in Nubra Valley.
Scenic drive through the Shyok Valley — one of the most picturesque routes in all of Ladakh. First glimpse of Pangong Lake takes the breath away. Check in to lakeside camp. Sunset over the lake. Overnight at Pangong Tso.
Entire day to explore the lake at leisure. Sunrise photography, kayaking (optional), nature walks along the shore. Watch the water shift from turquoise to sapphire to indigo as the light changes throughout the day. Overnight at Pangong Tso.
Morning sunrise at the lake. Drive back to Leh via Chang La (5,360m) — the second highest motorable pass in Ladakh. En route visit Druk Padma Karpo School (Rancho's school from 3 Idiots). Arrive Leh by evening. Overnight in Leh.
Full day monastery circuit. Visit Hemis — the largest monastery in Ladakh, famous for its annual festival. Continue to Thiksey Monastery — often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa. End at the ancient Shey Palace. Overnight in Leh.
Visit the mysterious Magnetic Hill where vehicles appear to defy gravity. Stop at Sangam — the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Afternoon visit to Alchi Monastery with its exquisite 10th-century murals. Return to Leh. Farewell dinner. Overnight in Leh.
Morning at leisure for last-minute shopping in Leh Market — pick up Pashmina shawls, Thangka paintings and local handicrafts. Transfer to airport for your onward flight. Tour ends with a lifetime of memories.
